I would like to offer the warmest possible welcome to Sharples Primary School. My name is Alan Hemmings and I am very proud to be the headteacher of such a wonderful school. Whether you already have children at Sharples or are new to the school, you will always be welcome and if you are considering sending children in the future, I would strongly encourage you to come and visit.

At Sharples you will find a warm and caring

environment in our school, built on excellent relationships between adults and children.

Our school is exceptionally well resourced with spacious, airy classrooms and we enjoy attractive grounds with lots of stimulating activities for children.

The staff at Sharples are fantastic. They are a dedicated, hard working and caring staff who provide stimulating and well planned learning activities for children of all abilities. We have a positive partnership with parents, carers and our community and are supported by a dedicated Governing Body.

All pupils should enjoy school life and we work to create a very happy 'family school' where there is a sense of purpose and well-being. Our aim is always to make Sharples a place where children are glad to be.

I thank you for taking the time to get to know Sharples. I look forward to getting to know you better in the future.

Alan Hemmings
