While we are not in school, we will be regularly updating this page with activities and learning that can be completed at home. Each child has already brought home a learning pack to complete, including Maths, English and wider curriculum work. Children should also be continuing to read a variety of books. In addition to this, if you scroll down this page you will find a list of websites that you can use for continuing learning and enjoyment in all areas of the curriculum.
We do not expect children to spend the same amount of time working as they usually would in the school environment. Please use this opportunity to spend quality time together, play games and go for a walk (if possible while adhering to Government guidelines).
We will be using Purple Mash as a form of contact for Years 1 to 6. Children can blog about their learning and e-mail their teacher if they are having any difficulties with any work. In the Foundation Stage (Reception and Nursery) we will be using Evidence Me to communicate with parents and send out challenges. If you have any queries, please contact your teacher through PurpleMash or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Also, join us on Twitter @SharplesPrimary where we will be setting daily challenges that are just for a bit of fun and to keep us motivated and smiling! (You can also view these below).
We are running a skeleton staff in school for children of Key Workers. If you need to contact school, please e-mail email@example.com rather than leaving a telephone message. If you are a Key Worker and require childcare, please ensure school has enough notice to accommodate this.
