This week in Year One:
Year 1’s Weekly Round-Up We have been completing our first assessments this week and the children have worked incredibly hard. To balance this out, we have made the most of the beautiful weather and had lots of additional breaks to keep us focused. Our writing is continuing to improve week on week and we have been focusing on writing longer pieces of work and building up our stamina in preparation to write a story next week In PE, we have been having lots of fun learning how to control a ball with a racket. We have found this tricky but we have enjoyed the challenge. Our Certificates Teamwork Tom: This is going to Jason this week who has been supporting and encouraging his peers with their work. It was lovely listening to his supportive guidance and coaching. Reading: Ryan is impressing in all areas. His dedication and work ethic is really paying off and his work has been fantastic. Numbots: Jason for the most coins earned this week: Headteacher Dojo awards for impressing staff around school for their super behaviour. Aisha H and Amaira
